In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for the detailed etching of aerofoil blades and stampings, working with high-quality materials like titanium, aluminum, and steel alloys. Position Details
- Salary: £12.17 per hour, rising to £13.52 per hour after successful completion of training
- Shifts: Static night shifts, Monday to Thursday, 8 pm – 6 am
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Etch Line: Run a manually operated etch line to process aerospace forgings according to strict dimensional and visual standards.
- Chemical Processing: Use a range of acids and chemicals for controlled etching, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Quality Compliance: Adhere to NADCAP and ISO9001 standards, maintaining top-quality output.
- Efficient Problem-Solving: Quickly address any rework needs to help the team meet production goals and key metrics.
What You Will Bring:
